Every staircase we build passes through one facility in Broomall, PA. It’s within this 150,000 sqft space where every step of the process from design and engineering to machining, welding, fabrication, and finishing stays in-house. We’ve invested in the technology to build with precision, and kept our team nimble to create with care.
Our work has always done the talking, and for 95 years, that’s been enough. This month, we made an exception.
An extended cut of the video spot above begins airing nationally this month. It’s the first time we’ve let cameras spend real time inside the shop floor. The footage is an in-depth look at the behind-the-scenes processes and technologies we use to create consciously crafted pieces, and includes interviews with our team.

The last few seconds hint at something we’ve been building quietly for months: a refined logo mark, and the first piece of a complete new visual identity for the Iron Shop.
For four generations, we’ve continuously refined how we design and build staircases. Now we’re rebuilding our brand from the ground up to match. The Iron Shop name isn’t changing but the way we carry it forward is. We’ll share the full look in the coming weeks.
